ChatMDR 2.1

ChatMDR 2.1 released

Client version 2.1.0

During the month of FREE February, where you can get one month of ChatMDR Plus with GPT 4 Turbo completely for free, we have released yet another update. Head over to app.chatmdr.eu and use the new version now.

You haven’t taken advantage of the offer to get access to the new AI model for free? Instructions on how to sign up here.

What’s new

The 2.1.0 release adds one major new feature and a number of user interface enhancements, especially for mobile users.

Copy functionality

By popular demand!

The output of each ChatMDR response now shows a little clipboard icon at the bottom:

There are no prizes to be won by guessing what this button does: it copies the entire response to your device clipboard, so you can paste it in Word or wherever. Rich formatting like bullet lists and bold print are preserved.

This feature should be a major timesaver when you, like most of us, use ChatMDR to generate part of your technical documentation, notified body responses or standard operating procedures.

Improved usability for mobile

While most ChatMDR users are running our tool on their desktop Macs or PCs, there has been a mobile interface from day one. The only thing was…it wasn’t very good.

Because the focus had been on the desktop version, mobile users experienced annoying scroll behaviour, buttons that did not work as expected and other annoyances. Sorry about that.

The new release has been optimized for mobile and tested across a variety of browsers (Safari, Chrome and Edge) and devices (phones and tablets). It provides a convenient toolbar for ChatMDR Plus and Unlimited users to switch between the Faster and Smarter models.

Of course, the new copy functionality carries over to mobile as well!

ChatMDR Plus is still free for a month

If you haven’t taken advantage of the offer to kick the tires of the new GPT 4 Turbo model that comes with ChatMDR Plus and Unlimited, it’s not too late.

Using the special promo code CHATMDRFREEFEBRUARY , you can try the new model for a month – and of course you get the 200 questions that come with ChatMDR Plus as well. So that’s a whole month – if you sign up on February 16, your plan runs until March 16. You get the picture.

Of course, we hope that you like it so much that you extend your plan after a month and stay with us as a ChatMDR Plus subscriber, but if not, no hard feelings! You can cancel at any time during your free month and not pay a thing.

Signing up works through our subscription partner Stripe, that also runs some of the world’s major e-commerce businesses. If you can’t find where to put in your promo code, we’ve made a handy YouTube video to help you out:
